L&S PRINTING was established in 1976 by Larry and Sharon O'Connor and was located on Third Avenue in Wausau, Wisconsin. In the truest sense of the word, L&S Printing was a family business. The O'Connors worked alone doing the prepress, printing, bindery, delivering, quoting and invoicing themselves. It wasn't easy, but Larry and Sharon built the business together. They hired their first employee in 1979, with more to follow in the next few years. Through the first 15 years, L&S Printing continued to grow and soon the building on Third Avenue became too small.
In 1992, L&S relocated to its present location on the corner of First and Stewart Avenues. The next five years would prove to be the most challenging. In their new location, L&S Printing grew by leaps and bounds, establishing itself as one of the area's most reliable printing companies. Some of Wausau's largest and most successful companies turned to L&S Printing for quality, fast turnaround and unmatched service.
After 21 years of tireless work, Larry and Sharon decided it was time to move on to a less hectic lifestyle. It was always their dream to keep L&S Printing in their family and, in 1997, that dream became a reality.
The O'Connors sold the business to their niece Kris LaPree and her husband Paul. Under Larry and Sharon's watchful eye, the LaPrees have continued L&S Printing's success. In 2001, L&S Printing made over $100,000 in equipment upgrades to assure that our customers receive the highest quality and fastest turnaround in the industry. Thanks to the unmatched dedication of its employees, a constant effort of upgrading equipment, and a new standard of customer service, L&S Printing's future is brighter than ever.
